How do I order online ?

Start browsing our great collection of products. Whenever you want to purchase an item click the "add to basket" button. You can review the items in your basket by clicking on the shopping basket icon appearing on the upper right portion of your screen. This will take you to the basket page where you can add or remove merchandise from your basket at any time.

When you are happy with your selection and want to check out, you can either use the "proceed to check out" button located on the basket page, or from any other page, just click the "check out" button on the upper right portion of your screen.

If you are a new customer, you will have to input your address and phone number so that we can process your order. To avoid the hassle of re-entering your information each time you come to the site, you will be asked to choose a password. The next time you shop with us, just enter the password and you are done.

Once you have reviewed the shipping information, you will be given the total amount of the order and asked to enter the payment instructions (credit card only, please!).

Click "Purchase" and that is it! It is as simple as that.

A printable copy of the invoice will then appear on your screen. We strongly suggest that you print it and keep a copy for your record.

Your account will not be charged until the goods are shipped (normally 24 hours).

What are my payment options ?

As of now, we accept the following credit cards : Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and JCB. We also accept money orders but not personal checks.

What about gifts

We insist on offering the best service to our customers. We are happy to ship any gift orders directly to the lucky ones! You will have the possiblity during the check out process to write a dedicated message that will be included with your order.

At BabyBazaar, every day is a special occasion and our BabyBazaar's unique gift wrapping paper will make the difference! There is a $3.95 handling charge for this special service however, we will not charge you for each additional giftwrap.

Some items, due to their unusual size or shape, cannot be giftwrapped. Look on the product page for a visible sign stating "This product cannot be gift wrapped".

Please note that every item on the same order will be shipped to the same address. In case you would like to send multiple gifts to different locations, please submit the orders seperately.

What about shipping ?

 

Domestic Shipping

Rates and delivery times:

Any order received by 12:00 PM EST will be shipped the very same day. Orders received after 12:00 PM EST will be shipped the following business day. Your order will be shipped through UPS or USPS. BabyBazaar reserves the right to choose the most suited carrier to deliver your order. Please note that our shipping days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Shipping options:

Depending on how soon you want to receive your order, we offer several shipping options: ground, second day or next day shipping. Our shipping rates are detailed below.

Some items are considered as "overweight". These items are usually strollers and car seats although not all of them fall into this category.

The shipping of oversized items (indicated on the product page) will involve an extra charge of $6.00 per oversized item. Note that oversized items will only be delivered by ground shipping.

Please allow extra time for shipments to Alaska, Guam, Hawaii & Puerto Rico. USPS will be used as a carrier for these destination.
APO/FPO: We do ship APO/FPO addresses; However, we are unable to estimate the shipping times to these addresses. A $12 surcharge may apply for oversized items shipped to APO/FPO addresses depending on the zip code.

 

International shipping:

We gladly ship to foreign countries.

The orders are shipped by United Parcel Service or United States Postal Services.

Rates:

When you purchase an item for international shipping, a charge of $25 will be automatically added to your order.

This standard shipping charge will be applied to a package containing regular size items (baby clothes, toys and small gear).

This shipping charge is an indication only and may be adjusted to reflect the real cost of shipping. If the final shipping charges are over $25, we will contact you by email to obtain your approval and your authorization to ship the items.

Delivery time: 5 to 8 days.

Once the product arrives at customs, the recipiant is responsible for any tarifs, customs, duties or import fees that may apply.

Because the situations can be very diverse between countries and depending on the products imported, any charges at customs will be born by you. We advise that you contact your local customs office for further information on duties and taxes.

Canadian shipping:

We ship to Canada using UPS Ground Service. We can ship express if necessary. Call us or send us an email for a quote.

When placing an order online, chose the "international shipping" option. A charge of $25 will automatically be added to your order. This charge will be adjusted when processing your order to reflect the real cost of shipping.

Tracking your order

 

Once your order is processed, we will send you a confirmation e-mail. You will receive a tracking number for either UPS or the US Postal Service, depending on which carrier was used to ship your order. You can use this number to track your order online at www.UPS.com or www.USPS.gov. UPS allows you to track your order while en route, but the US Postal Service generally does not, the exception being Express Mail. You can also call our customer service number  877-543-7186 , and a BabyBazaar representative will be happy to assist you with your order.

Changing or Canceling orders.

If you decide to change or cancel your order, please immediately call our customer service toll free number: 877-543-7186.
If your order has already been shipped, then it will be too late to cancel the shipment. In this case, simply return the shipment and we will refund the purchase price of the item. Unfortunately, the original shipping and gift wrapping costs are not refundable. Made to order items are not cancellable once the artist has started to produce the item.

Return policy:

BabyBazaar will accept returns for credit or exchange within 30 days of purchase. You will be responsible for the return shipping cost to BabyBazaar.

When returning the item, you will be responsible for it until it arrives at our warehouse. To avoid trouble, we suggest that you use a shipping method that issues a tracking number and that you insure the package.

Items in NEW condition will be refunded 100% (with the original and undammaged packaging including papers, plastic wraps and tags uncut) minus the original shipping cost to you less the shipping that you already paid when you purchased the product.

For instance, you may have pay $4.95 as shipping costs when you ordered an item but it might have cost BabyBazaar $10 to ship it to you. For obvious reason, if you decide that you don't like it and return it, BabyBazaar will refund the value of the item minus $6.05 to cover the different between what you originaly paid for shipping and the real shipping cost. Shipping cost documentation will be furnished upon request.

If the item is not received in re-sellable conditions (f.i. open boxes, product damaged, writing on the box other than shipping label, missing accessories or papers,...), we will impose a restocking fee ranging from 20% to 75% with a minimum of $5 depending on the condition of the item we receive.

Items sent without return authorization numbers or more than 30 days after purchase will be automatically subject to a restocking fee of 30% with a minimum of $15. Note that this restocking fee may be higher if the item is not in perfect re-sellable condition.

Shipping and handling fees are not refundable with the exception of orders incorrectly shipped by BabyBazaar.com.

Note that some exceptions apply to our return policy:

- Hygiene products like breast pumps and baby bottles are not returnable.
- Monogrammed and made to order items are not returnable and not cancellable once the artist has started the work.

 

BabyBazaar's responsibility towards product information:

Babybazaar is making its best efforts to ensure that the information provided in the product description on the website is acurate. However, manufacturers can modify their product features at any moment without notice. Even though we are monitoring changes very carefully, it might happen that a piece of information might be inacurate or incomplete. Babybazaar does not warrant that information and description given is error-free.
It is the consumer's responsibility to go through a careful due diligence process before aquiring a product. BabyBazaar will not be held responsible, if a discrepency may arise between a product and the information given. It will not be considered a valid reason to return a product at BabyBazaar's expenses.

 

Procedure to return an item:

No return will be accepted without a return authorization number (RA).

Step 1: Call 877-543-7186. A customer service representative will give you a return authorization number (RA number).

Step 2: Select a carrier of your choice. Affix a label to the box with the return address and the RA number on it. DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING DIRECTLY ON THE BOX.

Step 3: Your credit card will be credited (please allow 2 to 4 weeks to process the return).

The shipping cost for the return and exchange will be at the customer's expense unless we are responsible for a mistake.

Sales tax

Sales tax will be charged only on orders shipped within the state of New York. Shipments sent outside of New York state, will not be charged sales tax.
